A Nature Exploration Area is Coming to North Oaks Neighborhood Park

We’re partnering with KABOOM!, Pacific Life Foundation, Lion Street and Austin Parks and Recreation to build a brand-new, kid-designed nature exploration area in our very own neighborhood park.

Now, we need you! From Friday, Oct. 16, to Saturday, Oct. 17, we’ll need neighborhood volunteers to bring this new space to life.

Note: You will be prompted to create an account to register. No construction experience? Perfect. This is a hands-on, all-skill-level welcome kind of day. Work is available for volunteers of all skill levels and abilities.

When: Friday, October 16 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. | 20 volunteers needed Saturday, October 17 | 8 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. | 90 volunteers needed

Where: North Oaks Neighborhood Park, 820 Plaza Dr, Austin, TX 78753, United States

What’s Provided: Breakfast, lunch and water will be provided. Gloves and other safety materials will be provided for the projects that require them.
